MAYHEMM • Dakota Kirchenschlager and Mayhemm left the American Rope Horse Futurity Association Sun Circuit with $14,790.00 after winning the Futurity Heeling March 1-3. The 6-year-old by Metallic Rebel out of Katniss turned in a 919.59 composite for the win.

GOLDEN STATE GRIT • James Mann may have been a Jr. Ironman rookie, but he left the Lazy E with the 2025 title and $21,000. The 19-year-old from Tehachapi, California, finished the 12-head battle in Guthrie, Oklahoma, in 138.4 seconds to take the title home to the West Coast in his first trip.

NEW GENERATION • World Champions Tyler Wade and Wesley Thorp hosted the World Youth Team Roping Championships in Stephenville, Texas, March 21-23. The future of team roping looked bright in the Las Tunas Cattle Co Main World Youth Event with Koda Peterson & Jaydon Warner taking first for $12,800.

COWBOYS IN H-TOWN • Best friends Derrick Begay and Colter Todd took home the coveted RodeoHouston title after a 5.8-second run in the four-man finals March 25. The Arizona cowboys pocketed a total of $71,750 a man during their Houston run to move to No. 1 in the PRCA world standings.
